A group of volunteers have formed a 355 committee at Kootingal and named it KESDEC (Kootingal Ecenomic and Social Development Committee). We have been involved in many projects around our village. The ones you see here is the construction of a feature to the gateway to Kootingal at Parry Park and planting two Claret Ash trees in Federation Park.
We have been fully backed by Parry Shire Council who supply material and the machinery used to gather and move the huge Granite Rocks here. All labour is voluntary.
